About Dawn
Dawn enjoys helping people. She considers true service as her life's primary purpose. She was told at an early age by a palm reader that she would help heal many, many people with her psychic abilities.
At first, Dawn was wary to cultivate and use her gift of intuition. After earning her master's degree in journalism and working as a journalist, Dawn began creating communication strategies for CEOs and senior executives of global corporations. She often felt like she was living a dual life.
Dawn began meditating to get in touch with her inner guidance in the 1990s. In 1991, she received shaktipat, an awakening of her kundalini energy from an Indian spiritual teacher and master, whose identification with the supreme Self is uninterrupted. Dawn continues to pursue a spiritual path, knowing that everyone can attain divine consciousness while in human bodies.
One of Dawn's guides is an Oglala Lakota elder, who has been with Dawn since her early childhood. Dawn was honored to be asked by a Shaman and native elders to capture on video a sacred ceremony dedicated to all races living in harmony. This ceremony aired on PBS as a television special. Dawn worked on another PBS television show with authors Barbara Mark and Trudy Griswold of the book Angelspeake: How to Talk with Your Angels. The best-selling book and PBS show tells how to communicate with your inner guidance.
She has volunteered as a technical director of global satellite broadcasts for a worldwide community of meditation ashrams. Dawn has served on the executive board of the Institute for Spiritual Entertainment in Los Angeles, a non-religious organization dedicated to promoting uplifting and inspirational entertainment.
Dawn is a certified Usui Reiki Master / Teacher and also is certified by Dr. Richard Bartlett in Matrix Energetics. Dawn believes in the power of focused intent as well as in divine guidance. She believes the Tarot provides an opening to other realms and likes to offer that knowledge to all who want to awaken.
"Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens." Carl Gustav Jung
